Pauline Anne "Polly" Zinn, 71 of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 8:03 PM, Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville following an extended illness. She was born October 30, 1938 in Crooksville, the daughter of the late Francis R. and Pauline A. McDonald Dillehay.
Polly was a homemaker and a retired clerk from Souder's Pharmacy in Crooksville. She was a lifelong member of Church of The Atonement and a member of VFW Post 9090 and American Legion Post 222 Auxiliaries, all in Crooksville.
Polly is survived by her husband of 49 years, Sammy J. Zinn; her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa A. and Mike McNeal of Crooksville; her son, Darren J. Zinn of Crooksville; her sister, Elaine Seckens of Virginia; her grandchildren, Dash (Ashlee) McNeal, Tori McNeal, Colt, Shannon and Tyler Zinn and Cody DeBolt and her great granddaughter, Kipplyn McNeal.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Leo, Hugh and James Dillehay and her sisters, June Mallet, Francis Hull and Anna Katherine Karns.
The Zinn family will receive visitors 2-8 PM, Friday, August 6 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE where the Rosary will be recited at 8:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 7 at Church of The Atonement, 310 Winter St., Crooksville with Father Victor Wesolowski as celebrant. Cremation will follow the funeral Mass with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, south of Crooksville at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, 713 Forest Ave., Zanesville, Ohio 43701, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
