Roberta E. Wolfe, 75, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 7:40 PM, Saturday, January 19, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness.
Roberta was born September 15, 1937 in New Lexington, the daughter of the late John and Dora Hynus Sines.
She was a 1955 graduate of St. Aloysius High School in New Lexington. Roberta was the former President of Southeastern Electric Company in Crooksville where she was co-owner with her late husband, Gail. She was a member of Church of The Atonement Catholic Church in Crooksville and an active member of the Ceramics Booster Club.
Roberta is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Glenn Wishnew of Naperville, Illinois; her sons and daughter-in-law, Tim and Christina Wolfe of Crooksville, Mike Wolfe of Roseville and Bryan Wolfe of Crooksville; her sisters, Peggy Young of Lexington and Joyce (Cliff) Valentine of Athens; her grandchildren, Abby Nolte, Nathan Wolfe, Wesley Wolfe, Bryan Wolfe, Jr., Alisha Milner, Brandon Wolfe, Eric Wolfe, Alan Wolfe, Allison Wolfe, Alan Timothy Wolfe, Katie Wishnew, Glenn Wishnew III; her great grandchildren, Landon Wolfe, Aubrey Milner and Evan Nolte and special friends, Jean Printz, Judy Hutchins and Linda Gorby, all of Crooksville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E. Gail Wolfe who passed away April 28, 2009; her sisters, Virginia Ansel and Leona Fosco and her brothers, John Sines, Leroy Sines and her twin brother, Robert Sines.
Family and friends will be received 4:00-8:00 PM, Monday, January 21 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 8:00 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 22 at Church of The Atonement Catholic Church, 301 Winter St., Crooksville with Father James Csaszar as celebrant. Burial will follow beside her beloved husband in Zion Cemetery in Portersville . A bereavement meal will be served for the family and friends by her parish family in the church social hall immediately follow interment.
Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, 713 Forest Ave., Zanesville, Ohio 43701. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
