Ruth A. Jewett

Ruth A. Jewett, 61, of W, Athens Rd., Roseville, Ohio passed away at 10:01 P.M., Monday, March 29, 2010 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville after an extended illness.

She was born October 7, 1948 in Zanesville the daughter of the late Robert L. and Maxine Dorsey Hinkle. Ruth was an assistant manager for twenty-four years at K Mart Store in Zanesville and she attendeded the Faith Center Church in Crooksville.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy & Scott Ewart of Roseville and Courtney & Doug Wood of the home; nieces and nephews, Michelle (Aaron) Turk, Matthew (Kristen) Rambo and Darren (Lori) Talbot; sisters, Connie Thomas of Crooksville and Bobi (Bryan) Brill of Zanesville; sister-in-law, Donna Talbot; three grandchildren, Victoria Laine Ewart, Alexis Marie Ewart and Brayden Robert Wood; and her best friend, Peg Fouts of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Lee Hinkle and brother-in-law, Eck Thomas.

Ruth's family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 P.M., Wednesday, March 31 at the GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Ruth's life will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, April 1 with Keith Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Rehobeth Cemetery.
