Sandra Kay 'Sandy' Rosser

Sandra Kay "Sandy" Rosser, 72, of Roseville, Ohio passed away at 7:40 PM Friday, November 28, 2014 at Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care Morrison House in Zanesville.

Sandy was born November 17, 1942 in Rosefarm, the daughter of the late Howard and Annabelle Ross Smith.

She was a former employee of Gem Ice Cream, the Snack Bar, Southside Carry-Out and the Crooksville Carry-Out and State Store, all in Crooksville. Sandy was also a member of Rakkasans 187 Airborne, the American Legion 71 Auxiliary in Roseville, VFW 3297 Auxiliary of Delaware, the AmVets Auxiliary in Delaware, and was a founding Charter member of VFW 9090 Auxiliary in Crooksville.

Sandy is survived by her husband of twenty-seven years, Ronald E. Rosser; her son, Bryce Wiseman; her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Kip Wood all of Roseville; her brothers, Terry Smith of Malta and Dan (Dee) Smith of Crooksville; her grandchildren, Amy (Rob) Pietries and Mel Lovell; her great-granddaughter, Bailey Pietries and her great-grandson, Ryder Pietries.

In addition to her parents, Sandy is preceded in death by her son, Darryl Wiseman, Jr. and her brother Teddy Smith.

Friends and family will be received, 2:00 PM-8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE, with a VFW Auxiliary Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral services and a celebration of Sandy's life will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 3, at the funeral home with Pastor Marc Caton and Don George officiating. Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery in McLuney. The family and friends will gather at VFW Post 9090 following the burial.

Memorial contributions may be made in Sandy's name to the Crooksville EMS and Roseville EMS. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
