Tamara Lorain (Wood) Reavley

April 22, 1958 — March 1, 2019

Tamara Lorain Reavley, 60, of Crooksville, Ohio died at 4:25 PM, Friday, March 1, 2019 at her residence after an 8 month battle with cancer.

She was born April 22, 1958 in Zanesville, the only daughter of the late Charles R. and Donna R. (Brown) Wood.

Tammy had worked as a supervisor at Glasfloss Industries in Crooksville and later transferring to the plant in Lancaster.  She was a loving sister, mother and grandmother.  She derived her joy in life from playing with and caring for her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She loved all of the children in the family.

She is survived by and will be sadly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Jerrod Heskett of Crooksville; her brothers, Scott Wood, Gary Wood and Kenny (Kimi) Wood, all of Crooksville and her grandchildren whom she dearly loved, Ryleigh, Emma and Zachary Heskett; her former husband and father of Ashley, Bill Grannon and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Tammy was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold McHenry who died September 1, 1989 and her brothers, Charles Douglas Wood and Donald Ray Wood.

Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville.  A funeral service and celebration of Tammy’s life will take place at 7:30 PM, Tuesday with Keith Brown as celebrant.  She will be cremated following the services.

The family would like to thank Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care for their assistance in Tammy’s care in her final days.
