Thomas Potter Wilson

Thomas Potter Wilson, 81, of Roseville, Ohio passed away peacefully at 6:25 AM, Saturday, February 3, 2024 at New Lexington Health Care and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.

He was born August 5, 1942 in Zanesville, the son of the late Glen and Violet (nee: Grant) Wilson.

Tom was the owner and operator of Quality Paint and Body Shop in Roseville.  He was a very passionate coon hunter, spending all the time he could muster in the woods with his coon dogs, mules and hunting buddies, especially Eldon McArtor.  Tom was very dedicated to raising, training and showing the finest coon hounds in the area.  He was a life member of several hunting organizations, Treeing-Walkers Coon Hunting Association, Morgan County Coon Hunters and Perry County Coon Hunters.  He was also a member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Roseville.

Tom is survived by his sons and their spouses, Rusty and Coleen Wilson, Brent Wilson, Tim Wilson, Glen and Karen Wilson and his daughter,  Michelle; his grandchildren, Craig (Lindsay) Wilson, Brad (Shaina) Wilson, Kayla (Cody) Hall, Kasey Wilson, McKensie Wilson, Quincy Bowen, Cade Bowen,  Alexandra Davis and Lauren Davis and his great grandchildren, Eliza, Ellie, Case, Sylvie and Alice Wilson, Saelor, Holden and Wesson Bardsley.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandy (nee: Davis) Wilson; his son, Scott Davis; his grandson, Thomas Wilson; his great-granddaughter, Emily Wilson and his sisters, Martha Howerth and Madonna Malloy.

No services will be held, in keeping with Tom’s wishes, he will be cremated.

Goebel Funeral Home, Crooksville is assisting the Wilson family.
