Virginia V. "Ginny" Ford nee Stabinski, 51, of Highland Oaks Care Center in McConnelsville, Ohio formerly of Roseville passed away at 4:43 PM, Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the care center following an extended illness.
She was born February 25, 1959 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Walter and Florence Cizhy Stabinski. Ginny was a 1978 graduate of Frankford High School. She moved to Roseville in 1991 along with her beloved husband of eighteen years, Teddy E. Ford. Together they owned and operated their family business, Wood-N-Wicker-N there for ten years.
Ginny was the beloved sister of Norman Stabinski and his wife Laurie and their children of Florida and Steven Stabinski and his wife Diane and their children of Virginia. She was the cherished step-mother of Debbie Steinberg, Theresa McKavanaugh, Theodora Zolna, and Glen and Len Ford; adored step-grandmother of Alexandra, Samantha, and Rachael Steinberg, Shane, Sarah, Taylor, and Connoer McKavanaugh, Nicole and Matthew Zolna, Ryan and Glenn, Jr. Ford and Louie Ford; step-great grandmother of Bryanna Serrano.
Ginny was a friend of Bill W. for many years.
No calling hours will be observed. Ginny is a second generation Anatomical Donor and, in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Ohio State University, 279 Hamilton Hall, 1645 Neil Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43210-1239, ATTN: Anatomical donations.
