Virginia Lee Moore

Virginia L. Moore, 90, of Crooksville, passed away, at 8:27 a.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Cedar Hill Care Center in Zanesville. She was born August 25, 1919 in Crooksville to the late Gail Russell and Laura Reed Russell. Virginia worked at Good Samaritan Hospital as a LPN and was Methodist by faith. She is survived by her son, Jeremiah (Heidi) Moore of Dresden; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and her sisters, Mildred Walters of Crooksville, June Wise of Roseville and Emma of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her husband , Rollin E. Moore, who passed away, Nov. 26, 1967; her daughter, Besse Jean Bonifant; her sons, Roger A. Moore and Rodney E. Moore; and several brothers and sisters. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 23 with Pastor Dan Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in Oakfield Cemetery.
