Wilma K. Freriks

Wilma K. Freriks, 86, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 11:45 PM, Friday, March 11, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness.

She was born June 19, 1929 in Crooksville, the daughter of the late Grover and Gertrude (Wood) Combs.

Wilma was a homemaker and she truly lived for her children. She also worked in the Freriks family businesses throughout her life, most especially the Southside Carry-out. She was a member of Church of The Atonement Catholic Church in Crooksville.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Debbie Fisher of New Lexington and Bobbi and Glen Holcombe of Glenford; her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Cindy Freriks of New Lexington, Michael and Cathy Freriks of Zanesville and Tim and Lisa Freriks of Norwalk; her sister, Louise Kostelnick of Akron; her grandchildren, Michelle (Jeff) Spreer, Christina Wolfe, Scott Fisher, Tyler (Holly) Freriks, Luke Freriks, Kayla Freriks, Geena Freriks, Evan Holcombe, Emily Holcombe, and Rusty (Erin) Davis; her great grandchildren, Jordan Spreer, Megan Spreer, Allison Wolfe, Alan Wolfe, Madeline Freriks, Nathan Fisher, Zachary Fisher and Audrey Davis and her caregivers, Billie, Linda, Sandy, and Becky.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Freriks who passed away May 2, 2015; her granddaughters, Carly and Alyssa Freriks; her son-in-law, Jack Fisher and her sister, Roberta Dillehay.

Family and friends will be received 5:00-8:00 PM, Monday, March 14 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, March 15 at New Lexington Cemetery with Father Tony Frecker officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery next to her husband.
